I’m a photographer from DC specializing in music. I have sixteen years of photography experience, fourteen of which I’ve been shooting music and live shows. My photo history and style is deeply rooted and influenced by my experience with film before the digital era. I like to work with natural or existing light, and do as little post-shoot editing as possible.
Many things in the world today are set-up, over-worked and planned, edited, etc…. I love how raw, real, and tangible a great concert is. Music and photography are universal languages- they connect people. In my work I try to capture the feeling of each band, musician, and show in a unique and beautiful way.
